Newspaper Website

Client: N/A

For this project, I was tasked with designing a website modeled after a major newspaper to showcase data visualizations. I chose to replicate The Washington Post’s layout to create a realistic and professional news-style experience. The article focused on meteorite landings, using data from NASA’s Meteorite Landings dataset.

I implemented interactive and engaging data tables using a combination of JSON, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. This ensured that the content was not only informative but also user-friendly. By integrating the data into dynamic tables, I enabled users to explore key meteorite statistics—such as landing locations, mass, and year—making the dataset both accessible and visually appealing.

Through this project, I aimed to present complex scientific data in an approachable and engaging way, demonstrating how thoughtful design and technology can help convey important information to the public.
